Type the text you want to find in the Find what: field. The Find and Replace dialog box will appear. Alternatively, you can press Ctrl+H on your keyboard. If you want to do some heavy writing, Microsoft Word allows you to insert math and currency symbols using dictate. From the Home tab, click the Replace command. If you want to dictate a bulleted or numbered list, you can use the following commands: Next, select Find from the drop down menu.

It can be invoked directly with Search > Find or the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+F. The following formatting commands are also available, although you cannot apply them to specific words or phrases. To find a word or phrase, simply press Command + F on your keyboard. Find tab: Gives access to searching and counting. To open the Find pane from the Edit View, press Ctrl+F, or click Home > Find. If you’re in Reading View, switch to Editing View by clicking Edit Document > Edit in Word Web App. If you want, you can also replace it with different text. For example, if you say "the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog", then you can follow it up by saying "underline jumps" to get the same sentence with the word "jumps" underlined. The Find pane helps you find characters, words, and phrases. You can use the above commands on any word or phrase you've previously dictated.
